Privacy policy
[DRAFT — have this reviewed before launch.] Last updated: founders to set.
What we collect
Nothing until you accept cookies. With consent, Google Analytics 4 records anonymised page views (IP anonymised, no cross-site tracking). Advertising partners, once live, may set cookies for frequency capping and, with consent, personalisation.
The forum
The forum has no accounts. A random key is stored in your browser and a salted hash of it is kept on our server so your posts share a nickname. We store the text you post, the time, and the network address of the request for abuse prevention (deleted after 30 days of inactivity). Posts are public.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. EU/UK residents may request access, correction or deletion of data we hold; California residents may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell data, and the cookie choice covers sharing for advertising. Write to us via the contact page.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel; the forum database is hosted by Supabase in the EU.
Deal emails
If you sign up for deal emails we store your email address, the country you picked, whether you also want sponsor offers, the wording you agreed to, the page you signed up on and the date. We use it only to email you new deals and, if you ticked the box, offers from our sponsors.
We send sponsor offers ourselves. We never sell your email or give it to sponsors or anyone else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can ask through the contact page and we delete your details within 30 days. The list is stored by Supabase in the EU.
